  • Lighting artist on Wreck-It Ralph where I was responsible for lighting and compositing shots

  • Took shots through the stereo process by rendering out right eye camera and adjusting lighting composite for stereo artists.

2011
Sony Imageworks, Culver City, CA

Lighting Technical Director

  • Worked exclusively as a shot lighting technical director on the Aardmen/Sony Animation co-production Arthur Christmas.
  • Helped create key lighting rigs from color keys by the art director for my own shots.
  • Mastered Katana lighting pipeline and Arnold renderer.
  • After completion of shots in lighting, would take the shot through the stereo process by rendering out right eye camera and tweaking lighting composite for stereo.

2009 – 2011
Walt Disney Animation Studios, Burbank, CA

Lighting Artist

  • Started in the Talent Development Program learning the shorts lighting pipeline practicing key lighting on shots from Prep and Landing and then worked on shot lighting for the short, Tick Tock Tale.
  • Moved on to the feature lighting pipeline on Tangled as a lighting artist where I was responsible for lighting and compositing shots.
  • Also created lighting keys where other artists would propagate from my lighting rigs for their shots.
  • Worked closely with the 2k/stereo department by taking several of my shots through the final resolution rendering and stereo process.
  • Briefly worked in cooperation with ImageMovers Digital on shot lighting for Mars Needs Moms.
  • Heavily contributed to the stereo conversion of The Lion King and mastered the stereo conversion pipeline.

  • Responsible for all creative development in the Interactive/Video department.
  • Duties included video editing, color correction and compositing, 3D modeling and animation, DVD mastering, location shooting, interactive CD design, audio editing and location recording, event management, and graphic design.

  • Highly proficient in Maya, 3ds Max, and Houdini.
  • Compositing package mastery includes Nuke, Shake and After Effects.
